Regional event placement by Joe Avg User

Event details
Date:
Friday, 27 January, 2012 - 11:11 - 23:11
Location:
from the fertile fields of digitalia to a silo near you

The pretend date is Friday.  It will likely be rescheduled to a later date just to see how it behaves.

Joe Avg does not know what Assigned Tags are or how to  use them.  He just wants to see his event in a calendar format somewhere.

This is the initial calendar placement from me, Thunderbird, in role as Joe Avg, to Testes, the group.

I want to see how well this calendar might next host and notify entries to both groups and individuals,

so that (depending on their opt-in connection) those interested will be informed across divisional lines such as

centers, constituiencies, iGroups, and unaffiliated lone wolves.  This is what I call nesting, and it may not be a useful term,

but it is what I hope happens next in an easy to understand and even easy to manage way.

I just make my event sticky and featured

because there was a button called "Promote" that invited me to do so.

Can't wait for the reviews. . . (truly, I'm late to lunch but back later).  --Casey, Thunderbird

ps - for mercy's sake, i turned off notifications for this particular update - I imagine it

will just appear on the discussion thread without further ado - unless the above said

sticky and featured functions do something brave.
